Baseball Warehouse LP has re-launched its BaseballWarehouse.com on the Warp 9 Internet Commerce System platform, providing improved site navigation as well as better access to customer data, president Grant Delbecq says.

"We had a very good holiday season," Delbecq says, noting that the new site launched last fall.
The Warp 9 system replaces an e-commerce module within the retailer's Everest ERP system, which remains in place as Baseball Warehouse's back-end enterprise software.
The new platform provides for better graphics and product images, improved site navigation and a streamlined shopping cart, Delbecq says. The shopping cart process now takes 3 clicks instead of four, and it enables Baseball Warehouse to provide shoppers the option of either filling out a customer profile or going straight to checkout. The old site was less flexible and required all visitors to create a profile.
In addition, the new platform has led to better rankings through natural Internet search due to improved page treatments, and it provides managers with web-based reports on customer traffic and shopping activity, Delbecq says.
