Warp 9 Launches Virtual Catalog System for Magellans.com


January 12, 2006 - Santa Barbara, CA - Warp 9, Inc., the complete E-commerce catalog and retail solution, announced that Magellans.com, the award winning international travel site, has launched the Warp 9 Virtual Catalog System (VCS) to enhance the online shopping experience.

The Warp 9 Virtual Catalog System elevates existing print collateral to promote cross-channel consistency while integrating seamlessly with existing Web sites with no additional downloads or plug-ins.

Since implementing the Warp 9 Virtual Catalog System, Magellans.com has seen an increase in conversion rates and average order size. This increase is attributed to the familiar shopping experience created by the system. Customers are able to flip through pages, zoom in on products, just as they would if they were handling the paper catalog. Unlike the paper catalog, the Warp 9 Virtual Catalog System provides tracking and meaningful metrics.
